order to proceed with development of the Holiday World site,

Design, develop and implement the visual interface of the
Holiday World site that is consistent with the design themes currently implemented at the actual park.

We worked closely with the marketing department to create a visually compelling and cohesive solution that could be projected across all the different thematic sections of both the theme park (Holiday World) and the water park (Splashin' Safari).

Fast-loading pages were a must for a site that is predominantly visited by families living in rural areas of the country who have limited access to high-speed internet connections.

Careful attention was paid to the development of "expandable" graphics that were very small but could be scaled as the browser page is enlarged. Each of the large graphic files utilize low resolution black-and-white alternatives that will load quickly, allowing the site visitor to see all of the content much faster, rather than waiting for full-color artwork to download. Color was very important to Holiday World and their corporate color scheme required vibrant images. We fealt that this solution was the best for both client and end-user and we have heard nothing but positive feedback from each group.
