The E-Quarium - awarded 2000 Webby for People's Choice

ReAL Design was retained by the Monterey Bay Aquarium to manage the strategy, design, and implementation of the new E-Quarium. This incredibly rewarding, yet formidable, endeavor was comprised of more than 60 people. The resulting site achieved renown throughout the aquarium and museum industry, hundreds of thousands of unique visitors, and numerous citings on education sites.


    In order to proceed with development of the E-Quarium, the project team defined the objectives listed below. ReAL Design implemented a solution that achieves each objective, as indicated in the ReAL Results column.
