40th Anniversary of the Disk Drive - Animated logo
Our design of the animated logo for IBM's Storage Division home
page was a merging of visual design and the concept of a hard disk drive spinning as it is being read. We wanted to subtly suggest the physical qualities of a hard disk drive while promoting the celebratory spirit of 40 years of innovation at IBM.
Our goal was to create a festive atmosphere for heralding an amazing milestone in IBM's history. (A+F, 1996.)
